Best dressed at the Golden Globes

Kate Hudson wears a white Marchesa gown and looks absolutely stunning. She is pushing the envelope almost applying a 'Gaga-esque' look without looking like a circus side show. Her hair is tied back allowing the dress to do the talking and the shape accentuates her curves in all the right places.

Best dressed at the golden globes

Penelope Cruz wears Armani Prive and looks stunning. Age appropriate and on trend with the lace, the black brings out her skin colour and she accentuates her ourfit with some understated diamonds.
Julianne Moore should learn from her.

Worst dressed at the Golden Globes

Oh dear. Mariah Carey gets it all wrong, not only is that dress inappropriate for a 40 year old it is totally inappropriate for someone with a chest as big as hers. She has a great figure but needs to start buying her dresses in the right size (bigger).

Worst dressed at the Golden Globes

Ashley Tisdale is young and has a great figure but this dress is wrong in three ways: The top half looks like something someone twice her age would wear but is the least offencive part of the look. The bottom half looks like she nabbed it from the costume department of 'Chicago'. And the shoes.......leopard print can look great when paired with a simple black number but with the mish mash of textures, colours and prints it just looks a mess.

Worst dressed at the Golden Globes

Ahhh Julianne Moore. It's hard to go wrong with an LBT but she manages it, the off the shoulder look seems to pin her arms to her sides. And the unflattering shape and material does nothing for her figure.

A Sad Day For The Fashion Industry

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8511115.stm

Alexander (Lee) McQueen was found dead in his Mayfair apartment today just a few days after his mother died. It is being reported that he has taken his own life. Click on the BBC news link to read more.

"His death came days before London Fashion Week, and as final preparations were being made to a spring collection in Paris"

So So sad

Chanel Tattoos!

My absolute obsession at the moment, Chanel takes product placement one step further by 'branding' its catwalk models with the classic double C logo. Fortunately they are transfers and they sell for around £45 for 55 individual tattoos in Selfridges and Chanel stores. They are beautiful and yet another random way for Chanel to get their brand name out there aswell as ski's, helmets and American footballs.
